We are all Wonder Woman
There is a clip I shared on Facebook showing the mother of the disgusting specimen of garbage who killed twenty three year old Hadas Malka in cold blood last Friday, saying, “I wanted him to succeed, in killing twenty, fifty, one hundred of them (Jews). Thank god, I am proud.…” A friend of mine commented on the post saying, “I feel nauseous”. The chasm between the two mind-sets is obvious. Though I am not generally one to talk in absolutes, this difference between them is as vast as that between good and evil itself.
That the obvious has to be stated; that Jews and Muslims are neither good nor evil, speaks to the profound stupidity accompanying this generation of university and universally educated and their accompanying quasi-journalist. But what is fundamentally true is this, Jewish mothers feel nauseous at the very thought that any mother would be proud of her child for having killed an innocent human being in cold blood, because she believes he will be rewarded in the world to come. We simply cannot fathom it. We cannot fathom the stupidity and we cannot fathom the cruelty.
The fact that this woman has been indoctrinated into the multi-billion dollar cult of fundamental Islam whose primary and only stated objective is the annihilation of the state of Israel and the Jewish people, does not make it any more understandable. We Jews, simply cannot grasp how anyone could think like this. It is a symptom of our vulnerability, of our soft underbelly as Jews, as women and as mothers. It is expressed in the silent prayer of Wonder Woman’s Gal Gadot as she lights candles on a Friday night, and the prayer every Jewish mother utters as she drops her soldier child at the train station at the start of every new week.
When Sarah of biblical fame heard that Abraham had taken her only son Isaac up to the Jerusalem to sacrifice him, she died from shock. This is the way of the Jewish woman. We die a little from shock every time a child of the tribe is murdered in cold blood. You see you have to understand something. Just as Gilad Shalit was a little my child for all the years he was held in captivity, and the mentally retarded Ethiopian boy Avraham Mengistu, (who mistakenly wandered into Gaza where he is now imprisoned), is a little bit my child, so too was Hadas Malka. And this is true for all of us.
But why would God even ask Abraham to sacrifice the son he loved most, the son through whom his descendants would be “as numerous as the stars in the sky” ? It doesn’t make sense. Our scholars take us back to a time when child sacrifice was rife. Moloch, the god of the Ammonites demanded child sacrifice as did the unnamed idols of Canaan and the Syria-Palstina gods Baal. When God sent an angel to stop Abraham, we are told He was instructing him specifically to NOT sacrifice his child and to differentiate himself and his descendants from the surrounding pagan cultures and practices.
Much of Jewish custom and Torah law is about separating ourselves from the nations of the world. We are told not to take a blade to the five corners of the face because the Egyptians were clean shaven. We were instructed to sacrifice and eat the lamb, whom the Egyptians worshipped. And yes, we are directed not to sacrifice our children to this, that or any other God. “Today I set before you life and death, choose life”, we are commanded.
The idea that a mother could be so heartless, so cruel and so stupid as to chose the Islamic death cult of child sacrifice, shocks us to our core. Our indigenous Great-grand-mother Sarah embodied this archetype which every Jewish woman now carries in her genes. This is what it means to be a Jewish women. This is who we are. And because this death-worshiping arm of Islam forces us to send our children to defend ourselves daily in our own holy cities, places of worship, schools, markets and villages, it makes us sick.
If we believe in principle that Allah and God are one and the same, how can we allow the perpetuation of the belief that anyone will be rewarded in the world to come by sacrificing themselves in this world ? How can progressive Muslims allow this and how can the world at large continue to turn a blind eye to the enormity of this problem in Islam?
And when this stupid women thanks god that her child is a bloodied murderer, I have to wonder about the nature of her god. He is a pathetic god, a small god, a disgusting god, he is a god who makes Jewish mothers nauseous. But make no mistakes about us, we are soft, we are vulnerable and we are heartbroken, but don't f**k with us for we are also Wonder Women.
